Gift Caricatures
A gift caricature is a completely unique present, perfect for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, graduations… almost any special occasion! I aim for my caricatures to be the best quality available so you can be proud to give them as a gift. So what do you need to do when you commission me?
1) To create a top quality caricature I need a few high quality photographs of the subject or subjects. The higher resolution the better, as all the detail will help me get the best likeness and really capture the person perfectly. Ideally with a big smile!
2) Ideas! I love to work with my customers ideas for the theme of the caricature, so that it’s all the more personal to them. Gift caricatures look best with a strong, simple theme. Remember, it’s the person who has to be centre stage!

On the right are a few examples of my process - once I have the reference photographs and the idea is worked out, I’ll draw up a rough sketch which I’ll e-mail to you for you to look over and give me feedback on. Once you’re happy, I’ll move on and complete the final picture. The time scale can be a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on how complicated the picture is.
When it's finished, I'll e-mail you again to make sure you're completely happy with the final caricature. When you are, I'll print it and post it straight to you. I print all my caricatures on A3 heavy weight matte paper.
